the magic of a paper airplane

so today at starbucks, some kid was throwing a paper airplane around. it was kinda crappy, didn't fly very well, and landed near my foot. so i decided to teach the kid how to make a better one, one that'll fly far.
after ten minutes or so, the kid learned how to make a barrel rolling paper airplane from me. he threw it right away, and it ended up hitting one of the cashiers in the face.
even though i got scoldings from the parents and had to apologize to a handful of people, that still made my day. still chuckling about it.

that's pretty cool of you to teach that kid to make a good paper plane. heh. cute story.
